Shaukat Khanum Australia team hosted a Qurbani campaign lunch at Bulli Wollongong

On Saturday 19th June 2021, the Shaukat Khanum Australia team hosted a Qurbani campaign lunch which was kindly coordinated by Dr Asrar Khan and Dr Saima Asrar for the Pakistani community of Wollongong at Altitude 1148 Restaurant Bulli Tops.
Shaukat Khanum Australia Board was joined by Marketing Director SKMCH&RC Lahore Mr Tariq Azam via zoom.

In 2020, supporters of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Foundation raised more than $1.1 M, which has earned the charity a large charity status as recognised by the ACNC.
The Qurbani program coordinated by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital serves the deserving families and cancer patients requiring financially assisted care. The campaign distributes meat to the deserving families all over Pakistan and proceeds from the animal hide are used to sponsor treatment for cancer patients requiring financial assistance.

The attendees participated in a candid and live interactive session with Mr Tariq Azam from Pakistan addressing a broad range of issues, such as the hospital processes, patient care, running costs and patient intake systems. A scrumptious lunch was provided by Altitude 1148 restaurant and the Wollongong community showed their support for the cause by making pledges and donations for the hospital and Qurbani campaign.
