The Friends of Indus Hospital Australia Limited is a
Not-for-Profit organization registered in Australia with Australian Charities
and Not-for-profits Commission under Australian Charities and Not-for-profits
Commission Act 2012.
The objective of Friends of Indus Hospital
Australia is to support the efforts of Indus Hospital (http://www.indushospital.org.pk/)
in providing quality health care, absolutely free of cost to underprivileged
patients.
The Activities of Friends of Indus Hospital Australia include
creating awareness about the efforts of Indus Hospital, arranging fundraising
events, mobilizing individual and corporate volunteers to support Indus
Hospital with finances, knowledge and skill transfer.
Friends of Indus
Hospital Australia is an initiative taken by Australian of Pakistani origin
expatriate and supported by the wider community in Australia.
Indus Hospital is one-of-a-kind initiative in Pakistan. It was
created to provide indiscriminate, free of cost, premium quality healthcare in
a state-of-the-art tertiary healthcare facility. It is a non-commercial
hospital, governed by the Indus Health Network. The network was created to
manage several hospitals and numerous outreach programs.
Since the
beginning, TIH has solely relied on the generous support of donors to help
deliver services to people with meagre resources. The network is reaching out
to the less-privileged people across the country.
INDUS HEALTH NETWORK
The Indus Health Network is managing a number of private and
government health facilities in Badin, Muzaffargarh, Lahore, and Bhong (Rahim
Yar Khan). Under its massive expansion plan IHN is planning to set up health
facilities in Peshawar, Multan, Quetta, and Mansehra as well.

Health related programs involving different national and international donor
organizations are under the management of Indus Hospital’s Global Health
Directorate. The Indus Health Network is the principal recipient, for managing
Global Fund’s Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria programs in over 40 cities of
Pakistan.
