More than Two Hundred Thousand Dollars Pledges during the Indus Hospital Fundraising Dinner in Sydney

Indus Hospital is a state of the art tertiary care facility established to make quality healthcare accessible to ALL Pakistanis free of cost. CEO of Indus Hospital, Prof Dr. Abdul Bari Khan has set a new benchmark in the health management and welfare activities in Pakistan. Indus Hospital is the realization of a dream to provide premium health care services to those who do not have the means to pay for quality medical care.

Indus Hospital is managed by a passionate and competent team of local and expatriate professionals working round-the-clock under Dr. Abdul Bari Khan’s dynamic leadership, Indus Hospital has treated more than 2.3 million patients since its inception in 2007 and continues to expand and grow.

A successful fundraising event was held in Sydney, by supporters and Friends of Indus Hospital Australia. The Fundraiser event was held on Saturday, 16 Nov 2019. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Indus Hospital, Leading Pakistani actress, comedian, singer and playwright Bushra Ansari and Famous Film, TV Actor/ Businessman Behroze Sabzwari attended this function.

Mr. Yahya Chawla & Mr Tariq Shafi, Board member of Indus Hospital, Dr Pervaiz Ahmed, Mrs Afshan Tariq Shafi & Mrs Safeena Behroze Sabzwari also specially travel to Australia for attending Fundraising events.

Dr Pervaiz Ahmed briefly highlighted different Services of Indus Hospital in different cities of Pakistan, he also explained future plan of Indus Hospital.

Dr Imran Kassam, President of Australia Pakistan Medical Association appreciates Great Health Services of Indus Hospital and assures that APMA and Community settled in Australia will assist welfare services of Indus.

CEO of Indus Hospital Prof Dr. Abdul Bari Khan shared the story behind the creation of The Indus Hospital. TIH is pioneering an exemplary model of free healthcare in Pakistan and Dr. Bari epitomizes the spirit of unconditional service to humanity regardless of any accolades or honours as validation. “Where I stand today would not have been possible without my parents’ prayers and more supremely Allah’s will.” According to Dr. Bari, FAITH is the foundation of success supported by pillars of consistency, virtue and selflessness.

It is Behroze Sabzwari second visit of Australia but Bushra Ansari came first time on tour of Australia. Bushra and Behroze has had a successful stint in the field of performing arts as an actor, writer, comedienne, model, singer & talk show host.

Sydney make a history and unique example of fundraising in any Pak Australian Community event and with the efforts of all friends, almost 2 Hundred thousand Dollars are raised. The Editorial Board of Sada-e-Watan Congratulate team of sincere people who assist for achieving this wonderful target for collecting funds. We are sure that Every dollar donated helps provide quality healthcare for FREE to the most needy in Pakistan.
