Leading Financial Expert Faisal Shamsi hosted dinner in the honour of Former CG Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili
Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili, an officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) was Consul General of Pakistan Sydney & Trade Commissioner of Pakistan. He is currently Additional Secretary Ministry of Interior Islamabad. Sine second week of June 2019, he is in Sydney on short private visit to met family & friends.

On Thursday 22 June 2019, Mr. Faisal Shamsi hosted a dinner in the honour of Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili. The dinner was held at the “Thai Waterfront” Restaurant, Bella Vista Sydney. The dinner was attended by Dr. Khurram Kayani, Syed Zafar Hussain, Tariq Rahim, Raja Taseer, P. Jang, Asad Jatoi, Khurshid Alam and others.
Faisal Shamsi thanked the attendees and reiterated the fact that the people have yet to forget the Great Services of Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili and the high bar of standard he set during his tenure as CG in Sydney. Also, innumerable achievements on the trade front which consequently benefited bilateral trade between Australia and Pakistan.
Dr. Khurram Kayani (IT Professional and President PPBSA) expressed his sincere emotions by adding that Mr. Uqaili had not only achieved official targets but won peoples’ hearts too. He served all without distinction with all sincerity and that was very difficult to match.
At the end, Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili thanked Faisal Shamsi and all attendees for the respect and honour bestowed by them to him and invited all to visit Islamabad and be his guests.Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili said that he is regularly reading online Sada e Watan Sydney which well informed me about the news & activities of the Pak diplomates and Australian Pakistani Community.
