Pakistani Diplomats met with Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane on Cup of Coffee

On the invitation of Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane MLC, last Thursday morning of 25th Oct 2018, H.E. Mr. Babar Amin, High Commissioner for Pakistan, the Consul General of Pakistan Sydney Mr. Abdul Majid Yousfani and Consul of Pakistan Consulate Sydney Bushra Salam, visited NSW Parliament House and met Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane. He send this brief note about this meeting.

Through Sada-e-Watan Sydney, I want to mentioned that I had the honour of receiving Pakistan’s Diplomatic and Consular Corp representatives at NSW Parliament. I once again welcomed and congratulated the High Commissioner, H. E. Mr Amin on his posting to Australia. We discussed a number of issues and that he should be proud of the Pakistan Australian Community. A well respected community that has contributed much to the development and progress of our Multicultural Australia and more so in the arts, sports, business, education medical science and so forth. A well knit community. Very supportive and involved of wider community affairs .

We also spoke about my initiative to try to manufacture wheelchairs for disabled kids in Pakistan and distributed to disabled children in Pakistan. Hopefully with the support of the Edhi Foundation.

I also welcomed His Excellency Mr. Babar Amin to engage with parliamentary colleagues to further support our Pakistan community. He expressed his gratitude for my support to the community and extended and invite to me to Canberra and to Pakistan.

The Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane MLC, joined with the Hon. Amanda Fazio MLC, visited Pakistan to deliver 506 Wheelchairs to the Edhi Foundation and Al Khidmat Foundation.
