Australian Federation of Islamic Councils hosted 52 Annual Congress Dinner in Sydney

 On the evening of Saturday 30 April 2016, Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) hosted their 52nd Annual Congress Dinner. The annual dinner was held at Lidcombe Sydney. The dinner program began at 7pm with recitation of the Quran by a Sheikh followed by an English translation of the verses. Master of Ceremonies introduced the President of AFIC, Mr Hafez Kassem who gave a welcome address to all the guests.

Honourable Duncan Pegg, Member for Stretton QLD Parliament and Honourable Greg Donnelly MLC, Deputy Opposition Whip Australian Labor Party NSW also speaks at the event. Dinner was attended by Consul General of Pakistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Representatives of different Social & Religious organizations, elected public  personalties from Interstate, Scholars and Media people. A concluding prayer was then held to end the night.
