Pakistan High Commissioner Babar Malik Congratulates Muslims on Eid-ul-Azha
( Babar Malik Celebrating New Year in London)
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to
Australia & Fiji, Mr. Babar W. Malik has extended his heartiest greetings to the
Pakistani Community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The High Commissioner Mr.
Malik is currently in London on private visit but before his departure H. E.
Babar W. Malik sent an exclusive message to Sada-e-Watan Sydney. In his special
greeting message he said that the occasion reminds us to render sacrifices to
the will of God and at the same time remember the poor and the needy.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan also congratulated the Muslims who have
performed Hajj this year. He said that Hajj is one of the articles of our faith
which signifies unity of Ummah as millions of Muslims gather together in the
holy city of Mecca to perform Hajj.
Mr. Babar W. Malik said the true spirit of Islam is to sacrifice for the
well-being of the humanity. It is incombatant upon us to follow the traditions
laid down by Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) fourteen hundred years
ago to live in peace and harmony with other communities regardless of race and
colour.
The High Commissioner Mr. Babar Malik also extended his best wishes to the
Pakistani Community for the Year 2007.
