Launch at Bankstown Sydney of a newly published Urdu literary magazine, "Collage"
Dear Urdu Language Supporter,
Koocha- e- Saqafat Australia would like to introduce a classic literary magazine
Collage being published from last year by Collage Publications Karachi. It is
considered that every 5th person in the world is aware of Urdu language in some
way or other i.e. Speaks, read and write or simply understand it. However, Urdu
fans who live in non-Urdu speaking countries such as Australia have limited
opportunities to enjoy contemporary and quality rich Urdu literature.
It is beyond any doubt that Urdu is among very few top languages that have a rich literary heritage. Poetry or prose both of these highly admired not only by its supporters but also by its critics as well.
Collage is a high quality magazine in line if not better than
some of the earlier literary magazines such “Naqoosh” and “Seap” and is being
read widely all around the globe wherever there are Urdu readers.
