Managing Director of CROWNE PLAZA Norwest Sydney & his close friend Salim Lalani

organised a cultural show on the evening of Sunday 2nd October 2005. The famous
Journalist & Broadcaster Mrs. Rekha Rajvanshi was the host of the evening.
Local Pakistani and Indian musicians, Singers & dancers performed at the
well-organised function. The cultural performances started after a buffet dinner
which was prepared by special chefs of Crowne Plaza Norwest. Mr. Babar W. Malik
High Commissioner of Pakistan to Australia, Fiji & New Zealand and the Great
Pakistani Cricketer Waqar Younis were the chief guests of the evening. The
function was also attended by Mr. Nouman Munir the Area Manager of Pakistan
International Airlines and more than 300 invited dignities of the Pakistani &
Indian Community. Crowne Plaza Norwest has over 132 rooms for accommodation and
7 large Halls for different occasional functions.
