The trustee of Pakistan Australia Association of Australia & Advisor of Sada-e-Watan Sydney Dr. Akram Hassan & his wife Nighat Akram organised a farewell dinner for High Commissioner of Pakistan H.E. Babar W. Malik & Mrs. Sonia Malik. The dinner was held on Saturday 21st April 2007 and was attended by famous Pakistani & Australian dignities. President of PAA Ejaz Khan was the master of ceremony. Jazba group of Sydney performed Indian and Pakistani songs.
On behalf of Pakistan Australia Association, Dr. Akram Hassan presented a shield to the High Commissioner for his services to the Pakistani Community in Australia. Editor in Chief of Sada-e-Watan Sydney, Syed Zafar Hussain also presented a shield on behalf of Sada-e-Watan to H.E. Babar Malik for his services to the Pakistani Community & promoting Pakistan Australia Friendship. The High Commissioner Babar Malik said thanks to Sada-e-Watan Sydney & Pakistan Australia Association and appreciated the positive role of the Pakistani Community living in Australia.
