Bilal hosted a dinner in the honour of 3 Doctors who just returned from Gaza
On Saturday, 31 August 2024, Dr Erum Bilal
hosted a dinner in the honour of Dr Siraj Sira, Dr
Sanjay Adusmirli and Dr Javed Sherif who just back to Sydney after few
weeks treated in Ghaza who required urgent medical attention. They discuss the
impact of conflict on Gaza’s citizens and their health system and Crices of Gaza.
All 3 doctors briefly speak and answers few questions about the dangerous situation
of Gaza. They said that we were mentally prepared to help treat people in Gaza
but what they and other foreign volunteers faced was beyond anything they could
have imagined. The crisis has also left hundreds of thousands of Palestinians
requiring urgent mental health support.
The host Dr Erum Bilal thanks Dr Siraj Sira,
Dr Sanjay Adusmirli and Dr Javed Sherif who bravely risking their own lives to
see patients & saved many lives. Dr Erum Bilal thanks all medical professionals
who kindly supporting people & provide emergency and life-saving medical
care.
Former President of
APMA Dr Sayeed Khan and Dr Imran Kassam also thanks team of 3 Australian
Doctors for travel, assist and help of Gaza public. They hope that Doctors will
continue to support delivery of food, medical supplies
and pharmaceuticals, and the provision of critical services to meet the basic
needs of Palestinians.
