8 Teams Participated in the "5th TAPE BALL CRICKET TOURNAMENT SYDNEY APRIL 2013"

I would like to inform that Sports activity event was held on Easter long Weekend Monday 1st April 2013.
 
Venue: Granville Park, MERRYLANDS
Address: Cnr. Merryland Rd. & Woodville Rd.
              Merrylands NSW

Timing: 8.30am – 6.30pm
Date : 1 April 2013

There were 8 Teams Participated in the "5th TAPE BALL CRICKET TOURNAMENT  SYDNEY APRIL 2013". Some 300 to 400 people were attended in  this community based event in which players and spectators from different countries  participated this community based sports event. 
 
The Tournament was Organised by Munawar Hassan and Organising Team from Roselands NSW. In Past we had organised these kind of community based events several times and were appreciated  by community members and were successful. We believe this kind of  event is a nice way to get integrated into community.
 
I would like to Congratulate Q Group led by Mr. Asif  on winning 5th Tape ball Cricket Tournament Final against Buraq Plus. Thanks to every team, organisors, officials, Umpires, scorer, supporters, respected dignitaries, team members, my dear friends and Players for coming to the 5th Cricket Tournament Sydney. 
 
Q Group played very sensational Cricket and they are well deserve CHAMPIONS. Mr. Waleed debut superbly in Tape Ball Cricket Sydney and received Man of the Series award. Mr Ayaz from Buraq Plus was the Best Batsman of the Tournament and Awab from PTI received the best Bowler Award. 

It’s my pleasure to be here taking responsibility to organise Cricket Tournament with you people. What an honour it is to have spent my time among every team and Skilled Players along with interesting people. 
 
I am immensely grateful for what Cricket has brought to my life; the marvellous friends I have found, the joy of organising with those friends and feeling the supporters respond. The satisfaction of seeing talents at their peak and the excitement of seeing young talents develop. 
 
This event was community based sport event. I felt l proud to join everyone to this special occasion. I am very thankful and I feel proud as their presence made this event more remarkable and memorable. We  proudly  Support Vision Australia in this cricket tournament who supports blindness and low vision services.
 
The tournament was played with the Great Spirit for the game of cricket, and we hope all players and their supporters who participated in the tournament has enjoyed the comp and had a great day. Thanks to every team captains, members, umpires, scorers, organisers, officials and supporters for making this competition successful and interesting. 
 
Furthermore I would like request your newspaper to publish our news and pictures so we will be thankful to you.
