Pakistan Association of Australia hosted 9th Eid Milan Party at NSW Parliament House

Pakistan Association of Australia hosted an Eid Get-together party at the Parliament House of New South Wales on Tuesday, 04 August 2015. The program was attended by a large number of Parliamentarians, dignitaries, local Pakistani community members, Trustees & Members / Office Bearers of the Executive Committee of the Pakistan Association.

The Minister for Corrections, Minister for Emergency Services Hon. David Elliott, Members of Parliament - Member for Granville Julia Finn, Member of Holsworthy Melanie Rhonda GIBBONS, Member for Parramatta Dr (Geoff) Geoffrey LEE, Member of Macquarie Fields Anoulack Chanthivong, Member of Lakemba Jihad Dib, Hon Dr. Mehreen Faruqi MLC, Consul General of Pakistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili, The Vice Consul of Pakistan Consulate Sydney Bushra Salam, the President of the PABC and Federal PAC Mr. Iftikhar Rana and President of Pakistan Australia Association Mr. Ejaz Khan attended the PAA Eid Milan Party.

Mr. Nasir Taseer, General Secretary of the Association was MC of the evening. The program started with recitation of Holy Quran verses by renowned Religious Scholar of Pakistan Syed Nadeem Raza Sarwar who later also awarded of appreciation Shield on the behalf of the Australian Pakistani community. A student of Macquarie University Miss Mehreen Javed Live presented National Anthem of Australia and Pakistan.

The President Pakistan Association of Australia Mr. Abbas Rana formally welcomed all the guests and acknowledged the good community. The final speech of the evening was delivered by Hon Jihad Dib who was the host of the event.
