Pakistani Community Condemn the hostage of Innocent people in Martin Place Sydney
On behalf of the Australian Pakistani community I condemn the hostage of innocent people in Martin Place Café this morning. The act of hostage is heinous crime by the criminals. There is no justification for such a crime either in Islam or a civilised society.
Australian Pakistani community offer support to Australian Government, Police and other Agencies to rescue the victims and pray for the safety of our Australian brothers. In this time of heightened tension we all Australian should be vigilant and cautious from those opportunists who had ignited riots between Muslims and none Muslims some time ago in Cronulla. I assured all my Australian fellows that Islam and Muslims are not the terrorists. The wars in Middle East and ongoing conflicts in Philistine, Afghanistan, Kashmir and US Senate inquiry report on Guantanamo Bay prisoners mistreatment may have upset few to react in this horrible fashion. Australian Government together with other key players in the world should attempt to resolve conflicts so innocent people can sleep peacefully in future.
I once again condemn the hostage incident.
