The South Eastern and
Northern Sydney Family Referral Service (FRS) provides services to agencies,
young people, children and families who live in 16 Local Government Area’s (LGA’s)
across South Eastern Sydney (Ashfield, Botany Bay, Burwood, Canada Bay,
Canterbury, Hurstville, Kogarah, Leichhardt, Marrickville, Randwick, Rockdale,
Strathfield, Sutherland Shire, Sydney, Waverley and Woollahra). We are a new
support service in Sydney funded through NSW Health and would like appreciate an
opportunity to discuss the possibility of having a story about our service in
the newspapers and or magazines in any of the LGA’s covered by our service.
It is possible for us to get a positive news story from a family who we have
worked with to support the article. I am sure they would agree to an interview
as well if needed. We work with families effected by homelessness, poverty,
mental health concerns, domestic violence, financial stress, parenting issues
amongst other vulnerabilities, to link families to support services in their
local area. The service is a key initiative of the Keep Them Safe reforms to
provide holistic services to families in need. We cover 16 LGA’s from and we are
a free service.
