Dr Faisal
Sultan is a Pakistani physician who has serving as the Chief Executive Officer
of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Pakistan
since 2003. Faisal Sultan graduated from the King Edward Medical College Lahore and subsequently trained in the
United States in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut (1989-92) and in infectious disease at the Washington
University School of Medicine (1992-1995). He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He became a Fellow of the
Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, UK in 2007 and a Fellow
of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan (Infectious Diseases) in 2010.

Sultan is on tour of Australia for one week. On Saturday, 17th
August 2024, Shaukat Khanum Australia hosted a lunch in
his honour at the Darling Harbour Sydney. The donors of the hospital, Media
representatives and other leading members of the Community attended the event.
