H.E. Abdul Malik Abdullah Calls on the Foreign Minister of Australia Hon. Julie Bishop
On Friday, 13th Dec 2013, His Excellency Abdul Malik Abdullah the High Commissioner for Pakistan, called on the Hon. Julie Bishop, Foreign Minister of Australia, and congratulated her on assumption of charge of office.
During the meeting whole gamut of bilateral relations including political, economic, trade and defence ties came under discussion. The High Commissioner once again reiterated the desire of the Pakistani side for her visit to Pakistan. Ms. Bishop said that Pakistan is very country important from the new government’s perspective and that is why soon after her assumption she sent Hon. Brett Mason, Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs to Pakistan. She promised to visit Pakistan at the earliest opportunity.
