Commissioner Fauzia Nasreen hosts a Farwell dinner for CG Azam Mohammed

On Saturday 17th July
2010, the High Commissioner of Pakistan Her Excellency Fauzia Nasreen hosted a
Farwell dinner in the Honour of the Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney Mr.
Azam Mohammed and Sarah Azam. The dinner was held at the official residence of
the High Commissioner, Pakistan House Canberra. The delicious food was prepared
by the professional chefs and Mohtarma Fauzia Nasreen. The Consul General of
Pakistan Mr. Azam Mohammed completed his four years tenure in Australia and he
is leaving to Islamabad for promotion & new posting in the Federal Ministry of
commerce.
The High Commissioner H.E. Fauzia Nasreen was very kind and she also invited 8
Prominent Pakistani families from Sydney to Canberra to attend the dinner at
Pakistan House. The dinner was attended by Mr. Hamid Asghar Khan, Dr. Shaukat
Jeved & his wife, Syed Zafar Hussain & his wife, Muhammad Asif & his wife, Dr.
Akram Hassan & his wife, Ejaz Khan & his wife, Iftikhar Rana & his wife, Adil
Khan Miankheil & his wife and Great Uzma Gillani, her Son Saad & his wife.
During the conversation, Host High Commissioner Fauzia Nasreen appreciated the
positive role of the Australian Pakistani community. She also praised the
personality and services of the Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Azam Mohammed.
After desert and Tea,Coffee, the Chief Editor of Sada-e-Watan Sydney Syed Zafar Hussain
presented exclusive Shield to the H.E. Fauzia Nasreen for promoting Pakistan
Australia Friendship and services for the Australian Pakistani community. Mr.
Zafar Hussain also present appreciated Shield to Consul General Mr. Azam
Mohammed for promoting trade between Australia & Pakistan and serving the
community in a unique public style.
