High Commissioner for Pakistan to New Zealand Her Excellency Zehra Akbari

 presented her credentials to Governor General Lt.Gen Hon.Sir Jerry Mateparae
 

The High Commissioner for Pakistan to New Zealand, Her Excellency Ms.Zehra Akbari, presented her credentials to H.E. Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae,GNZM, QSO, Governor General of New Zealand on Thursday,16 May, 2013.

The presentation of credentials ceremony was preceded by traditional Maori welcome ceremony and presentation of guard of honour.

The Governor General Sir Jerry stated that New Zealand acknowledges the important role being played by Pakistan in international efforts to combat terrorism. New Zealand wholeheartedly supports comprehensive, multi-faceted and long term approaches to countering terrorism.
