At the Residence of Dr. Sayeed Khan, Syed Zafar Hussain Presents "Friend of Pakistan" Award to Dr. Ahsan Madani

The Elected President of the Australia Pakistan Medical Association (APMA) Dr Sayeed A Khan and his wife Dr.Ghazala Khan hosted a lunch at their luxury mansion in Sandy Point Sydney. The lunch was attended by Dr. Ahsan Madani, Dr. Akram Hassan, Dr. S. M. Habib, Solicitor Ejaz Khan, Dr. Aslam Choudhary,Syed Zafar Hussain, DR. Hafiz Survery and Dr. Akram Bungish and Dr.Madiha Khan and their families.

All friends and families enjoyed Dr. Sayeed’s lunch arty and appreciated the hospitality and delicious food offered by the host. During the occasion, the Editor-in-Chief of Sada-e-Watan Syed Zafar Hussain announced that on behalf of the Australian Pakistani Community, Sada e Watan will present "Friend of Pakistan" Shield to prominent community members who have served the community. He presented it to Dr. Ahsan Madani for his sincere contributions to the Community.

Syed Zafar Hussain recalled that when Sada-e-Watan started its publication , Dr. Ahsan Madani was President of PAA & Bashir Khan Babar was High Commissioner of Pakistan . He fondly recalled memories of those days and thanked them both for always supporting Sada-e-Watan.

Zafar Hussain said that from 1993-1996, as a President Pakistan Association of Australia Dr. Ahsan Madani has played a prominent role in expanding cooperation between Australia and Pakistan. He generously provided his money and time for the welfare of Pakistanis and assisted every and anyone who required any type of help and assistance.

Syed Zafar Hussain said that Dr. Ahsan Madani also worked hard to bring Australia & Pakistan people together and performed excellently even during challenging times. Mr. Zafar Hussain said Dr. Ahsan Madani greatest achievement was in uniting all Pakistani community under the one shelter.

“In recognition of his professional achievements, Sincere Community Services and endeavors for strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the Editorial Board of Sada-e-Watan Sydney has been pleased to confer the award of Friend of Pakistan to Dr. Ahsan Madani."
