Vice President Pakistan Australia Business Council Kashif Amjad hosted a Lunch at his Residence

Mr.Kashif Amjad, Senior Vice President Pakistan Australia Business Council hosted a grand luncheon in honour of new Pakistan Consul General Mr Abdul Aziz Uqaili to welcome to Sydney, however due to unforeseen circumstances he was unable to attend as he was in Pakistan due to his mother’s recent passing. Kashif Amjad with Dr Amjad his father were the hosts for the afternoon.

Many guests gave their sympathies to the Consul General family due to the passing of his mother, as he was in Pakistan and could not make it.

In a classic east meets west arrangement many people got to see what Pakistani hospitality, food, dress and culture is about as it was a fusion crowd of Pakistani, Indian and Australian guests from the area. The Tandoori hotplate was appreciated by all and they enjoyed the BBQ items variety to eat ready made. One lady described Pakistani ladies dress sophistication as almost like the French.

Host Kashif Amjad thanked everyone that came and enjoyed the 3 course menu from Himalya (www.himalaya.net.au) and especially The Hon. Phillip Ruddock who came from campaigning duties and MP Geoff Lee, MP Ray Williams and Michelle Byrne and special thanks to his friends Dr Maqsood from Queensland and Dr Shahbaz from Melbourne who came as well especially from interstate.
