Kashmir Solidarity Day Observed in Canberra, Australia

Under the auspices of Kashmir Solidarity Council (KSC), Canberra, a Photo exhibition followed by seminar was held on February 05, 2014, in Canberra to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.

The photo exhibition depicting scenes from the ongoing struggle in Kashmir for the right of self determination was held to raise awareness on the issue. The seminar was addressed by Begum Prof Khalida Qureshi, Ms Mariam Hakim, Mr Javed Butt, Dr Zakir Rehmani, Mr Iqbal Khan and President of KSC Mr Javed Butt. Speakers highlighted the significance of the February 5th and traced the genesis of the Kashmir issue. They vowed to raise their voice for the Kashmir cause till the settlement of the issue.
