For express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Seminar on Kashmir held at Auburn Town Hall Sydney

On Monday, 25th Oct 2021, the Kashmir Council Australia and Consulate General & Trade Commission of Pakistan Sydney organised a seminar on Kashmir at Auburn Town Hall Sydney. The objective of the seminar was to highlight the plight of Kashmiri people, underscore the deteriorating situation of human rights in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K), register protest against the forced occupation of IIOJ&K by India and the atrocities being committed by the Indian security forces against the Kashmiri people.

This event was held in Covid-safe environment, in strict compliance with the guidelines of the NSW Government. The participation in the event was by invitation only for the fully vaccinated persons. A large number of Community members attended event and express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

All Speakers unanimously agreed on 'Let Kashmir Decide' Solidarity Movement across the Globe. The event chaired by the Consul General of Pakistan Sydney Mr. Muhammad Ashraf was attended by members of NSW Parliament, Australian Federal Parliament, Senators, representatives from Turkish, Arab and Sikh communities as well as Pakistani diaspora.
