03 May 2014,

From Community Welfare Attaché Sardar Balakh Sher Khosa, A Final Thank you and Goodbye to all the Great members of Pakistani Community

Dear Friend Zafar Shah Sahib,

This is to inform all friends and great community members that after my tenure as Community Welfare Attaché in London and Sydney, I have returned to Pakistan at the end of my tenure. Though the Government was kind enough to extend my tenure till June 2014, I called it a day due to my personal reasons as my family & law firm in Pakistan required my services. As most of you are aware, I am a lawyer in the Apex Court of Pakistan and our, M/s Khosa Law Firm takes pride in serving the community in Pakistan since 1960, as well as Overseas Pakistanis as I served the Community at large.

I wished I could have called all the great members of the community individually to say my final thanks.  I wish to convey my thank you and Goodbye through the most esteemed , respected and most widely read Pakistani Community printed media, Sada e Watan to the Pakistani community in Australia.

Despite limitations I had the privilege of serving the community. I have to express my admiration for our community Especially Pakistan Australian Business Association President, Pakistan Australian Association Presidents & its team Mr. Iftikhar Rana , Mr. Hafiz Shahid Iqbal, Hon Shaoquett Moselmane MLC, Hon Fazio Amanda MLC, His Excellency Mr. Peter Heyward Australian High Commission in Islamabad Pakistan who have always been a helping hand for the Overseas Pakistanis living in Australia, When ever it has been required, Mr. Imran Ayub, Mr. Kashif Amjad, Mr. Ejaz Anwar, Mr. Atif Rana my personal friends and the one & only Mr. Kamil Khan, whom I have found more then my own self for being with me in all times & all others whom I have not named but they live in my heart, whom I found the best as a friend ,who always gave me full support whether it is for treatment of sick, locating family members of chronic patients, visiting the sick and providing for the needy in detention centers, jails or where ever I heard that Community Welfare Attache is required, I was always there to help them out of course keeping Community on board implementing the vision of the High Commissioner. So many community leaders served with passion.

My highest support was also the guidance of The High Commissioner His Excellency Mr. Abdul Malik Abdullah, my colleague Mr. Shifaat Kaleem and the staff of the Consulate. The former Consul General Mr. Azam Mohammad was right when he gave me 2 advice, (i) always keep an open door policy and (ii) serve the community. I wish to thank them all. I would like to thank Mr. Zafar Hussain Shah Media support and serving the community.

I also feel very blessed in being posted in Sydney after London as our Community in Sydney is very well integrated in Australia and they made great contributions in several walks including in medicine, engineering, IT , retail and skill services. It was an honour to have been a part of this community

I have no reservation in acknowledging that one of best community I was privileged to serve in is Sydney. I assure all my brothers and sisters and well wishers in Australia that no matter where I will serve in future or even post retirement, if I can be of any humble service ,it will be my greatest pleasure and honor to serve overseas Pakistanis as our law firm, which deals in Cooperate, Civil (FST&PST), Banking, Constitutional, Criminal and Immigration laws will always be at your disposal for all sort of matters with regards to the great Community, God bless all of you.

Yours Sincerely,

Sardar Balakh Sher Khosa
