Renowned Pakistani Personality Mohammed Ali received 2015 Volunteer of the Year Award from Government of Australia
Last week, Prominent Australian Pakistani social worker
& President Forum Australia Mohammed Ali was named " 2015 Volunteer of the
Year Award" from ACT Government. The ACT Minister Hon Yvette Berry conferred
the awards to recipients in 7 different categories.ACT Volunteer of the year
award recognises significant contributions of volunteers working in different
areas contributing to make a change in the society we live in.
In acceptance speech Mohammed Ali dedicated the award to all volunteers who are working for years and years to help humanity. This included all my friends who are my heart and soul. Thank you dears. Mohammed Ali said Let us keep the flame alive the flame of love and care for those in need, he said
" I am proud of my friends who have always joined hands to help those in need."
The Awards Celebration day also marked completion of the campaign to deliver much needed food to Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Canberra, and Canberra homeless, via ACT Red Cross.
