MOU signed in Karachi between Pakistan Australia Business Council and Pakistan Australia Business Forum
A memorandum of understanding was
signed between PABC (Pakistan Australia Business Council, Sydney) & PABF
(Pakistan Australia Business Forum, Karachi) both focused on improving Pakistan
– Australian trade relations. The two organisations have a common objective of
increasing trade & understanding between the people of Pakistan and Australia.
A meeting was held during Expo Pakistan 2013
(www.expopakistan.gov.pk)
in Karachi, on 28 September 2013. An MOU was signed by Kashif Amjad – Senior
Vice President Pakistan Australia Business Council
(www.pabc.org.au)
and Pervez Madraswala, President, Pakistan Australia Business Forum
(www.pabf.com.pk).
It was held at the prestigious Café Forty 4 in Clifton and hosted by Austrade,
Karachi.
Kashif Amjad, SVP, PABC thanked Ms Nicola Watkinson, Minister Commercial, Senior
Trade & Investment Commissioner South Asia, Austrade, Mr Tahir Mahmood,
Austrade, Karachi, Mr Azhar Shah, Austrade Islamabad and Pervez Madraswala,
President, PABF for their guidance and support. Consulate General Sydney Mr
Abdul Aziz Uqaili and TDAP was thanked for having a PABC representative at the
Expo Pakistan 2013 event. The team at PABC looks forward to further improving
Pakistan Australia trade relations over the coming years and make significant
announcements at next year’s Expo.
