Khawani, Majlis, Dua for the departed soul of Hajji Shaher Ali Moselmani (Abu
Shaoqi)
The Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane father Haji Shaher
Ali Moselmani (Abu Shaoqi) was on a holiday trip to Lebanon when he suddenly had
a heart attack and was then admitted to hospital where he passed away on 9th
June, 2023. The Marhum was a well known
social activist for the local community and always looked after disadvantaged
people in Australia & overseas.
On Sunday, 9th June 2024, a funeral,
Majlis, Dua and Quran Khawani was held at the “Husaineyat Sayeda Zaynab” in Banksia,
Sydney. A large number of family, friends and relatives attended.

Sheikh Kamal Mousselmani recited Majlis and
lead the Dua.
The Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane thanked all for joining the first
year memorial gathering and said:
We deeply appreciate the kindness and the
compassion shown by many in Australia, in Lebanon and around the world.
We are grateful for his full life, for the strength of his love for us all, for
the opportunities he gave us and for the beautiful values he instilled.
We are grateful.
We are comforted by the belief that along with my mother he will rest in
eternal peace.
