Pakistan Association of Australia hosted a Lunch at Circular Quay Sydney for Hon. Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman Sahib

The Pakistan Association of Australia arranged a lunch on 6th of March, 2011 in Neptune Palace, Circular Quay Sydney for the Pakistan Air Force Chief Rao Qamar Suleman, CAS, he attended the lunch with his wife and the air force team which comprised of AVM Muhammad Jamshed Khan, Air Commodore Syed Noman Ali.

and prominent citizens of Pakistani community in Sydney.

Mr. Iftikhar Rana introduced activities and position of all members of Pakistani community who were present at the lunch.CG Azam Mohammed gave a brief speech highlighting the Pakistan Australian relationship. He described import and export trades between both the countries giving a balance of trade figures.

Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman in his comprehensive speech informed that Australian and Pakistan Air Force services are enjoying a very fruitful and healthy relationship. He informed that during the recent floods in Pakistan, Australia offered two C-130 aeroplanes for the flood relief efforts in Pakistan. Reciprocally in the recent Queensland Floods Pakistan offered their services including two C-130 planes. He stated that during his current visit in Australian the air force chief appreciated Australian Pakistanis good will, gesture and praised us all in the meeting.

Mr. Qamar informed that the Australian Air Force Chief has visited Pakistan twice in the recent past, he shared some information about exchange of air force personnel’s between the two countries where Australians have already visited Pakistan while Pakistan will visit in June this year.

In the end he thanked Mr. Iftikhar Rana President, Pakistan Association of Australia for arranging such a nice gathering.

Behalf of the Australian Pakistani Community, Sada-e-Watan Sydney expressed the confidence on the leadership of CAS - Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman and hope that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) would continue to achieve professional excellence.

PAF had always played an important role in the defence of Pakistan in addition to providing vital support to civil administration in relief and rehabilitation efforts during natural calamities. Sada-e-Watan would like to appreciate the abilities of Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman and hoped that under his able leadership Pakistan Air Force will grow stronger.
