The High Commissioner of Australia Peter Heyward Present Credentials in Islamabad to the President Asif Ali Zardari
The High Commissioner of Australia to Pakistan Peter Heyward presented his credentials to the President Asif Ali Zardari at an impressive ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad.
After presenting the credentials Mr.Peter Heyward called on the President Zardari and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.The President felicitated the newly appointed High Commissioner & expressed the hope that he will work for further strengthening bilateral ties of Pakistan and Australia.
Earlier, upon arrival Peter Heywad were warmly received at the President House.National anthems of Pakistan and the respective country Australia were played and a contingent of the Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honour.
Former High Commissioner of Pakistan in Australia and present Federal Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Syed Jalil Abbas Jilani was also specially present during the presenting the credentials ceremony of the Australian High Commissioner Peter Heward.
