Australian Community Network arranged Independence Day of Pakistan at Bankstown Arts Centre

On Saturday, 13th August 2022, Australian Community Network arranged a 75th Independence Day of Pakistan Celebration at Bankstown Arts Centre, Bankstown Sydney NSW 2200. Australian Community Network is a non-profit organisation who has made it their goal to help the growing Multicultural Communities in Australia and around the globe.

ACNET will provide the following Services, Sports activities, Events and Workshops for the communities:

Services: International Students, New Migrants, Enhancing Skills, Matrimonial.
In Sports: Organise activities for the communities including Cricket, Basketball, Badminton and Archery.
In Events: Organise events for the communities including Eid Celebration, National Day.
In Workshops: Organise community workshops in Urdu language, backing class for women, Confidence building, Painting classes, Calligraphy and Hand Embroidery.

This event was started with recitation of the Quran by Mohammad Yahya, followed by a beautiful Dua for our community and Pakistan by the Imam of Bankstown Masjid NSW. The MC’s for this event were Mrs Lubna Aftab and Ms Aaira Syed.

Mr Shuja uddin Farooqi read a passionate poem he composed for Pakistan Independence Day. Lubna Aftab performed ‘Mere Watan Yeh Aqedaten’ (Song) which was highly appreciated by audience.
Some segments of this event were the quiz competition, speech competition, National songs, many performances, nomination awards and so much more.
