Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has felicitated Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Australia Her Excellency Julia Gillard MP, on the occasion of their National Day falling on January 26.In his message to the prime minister of Australia, the prime Minister conveyed his warm and sincere greetings on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan as well as his own behalf to the Government and the people of Australia on the auspicious occasion of their National Day 26 January.The Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Australia enjoy cordial relations based on mutual interests and shared objectives.The similarity of perceptions and understandings on regional and international issues underlines the strength of these ties.

PM of Pakistan expressed the confidence that bilateral relations would continue to grow in future with the enhanced interaction between the political, corporate and socio-cultural leadership of both the sides.

The Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf expressed best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the people of Australia.
