More than 3,500 attended Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's Performance at Convention Centre Darling Harbour Sydney

Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was Born in 1974 in Faisalabad Pakistan into a family of traditional musicians. The son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat was trained by his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the art of classical music and Qawwali. His first public performance was at the age of ten or eleven.
A World Renowned Musician and Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Kahn following in the foot steps of legendary “NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN”, is Bollywood’s latest musical sensation and king of Sufi. On Saturday, 6 March 2010 Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's Live Performance was held at Bayside Auditorium, Convention Centre Darling Harbour Sydney. Nash Patel – The Good Guys, Castle Hill Sydney was Sponsor of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Concert of Sydney. The concert began with a performance by Rucha Lange which was much appreciated by the audience. This was followed by the Raga Boyz, a Pakistani Boy Band who were a pleasing supporting act throughout the show. The Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Azam Mohammed, Coach of Pakistan Cricket Team Waqar Younis and more than 3,500 People attended Rahat's Concert which was a sold out event. He performed for more than 3 hours. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's performance was an extraordinary collection of Pak/Hind music. Red Chillies Entertainment presented his Show and his concert was a record in the attendances history of Australia. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his group of 18 musicians performed a mixed repertoire of memorable qawwalis and his greatest Bollywood hits of India/Pakistan.
