On Saturday 10th April 2010, the wedding reception of Sarah Bano Gillani & Syed Ahsan Jameel Gillani was held at Macquarie Function Centre, Liverpool Sydney. Sarah Gillani is the daughter of famous Pakistani dignity & Councilor of Liverpool Council Abbas Gillani. Syed Ahasan Jameel Gillani is the member of the famous Gillani Family of Multan and grew up in the same neighborhood where the current Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gillani grew up.

More than 350 people of the Pakistani Community and other Muslim and non Muslim Community attended this wedding. Some distinguished Guests included Her Excellency Fauzia Nasreen High Commissioner of Pakistan, Hon. Chris Hayes Federal Member for Werriwa - Government WHIP, Honorable Laurie Ferguson Federal Member for Reid- Parliamentary Secretary Multicultural Affairs and Settlement Services, Honorable Shaoquett Moselmane- Member of Legislative Council State of New South Wales, Councilor Ali Karnib Liverpool Council and Councilor Anne Stanley.  At the end of the dinner, Mr. Abbas Gillani personally thanked all the guests who were present at his daughter's wedding reception.
