Chairman Federal Public Service Commission visits Sydney

A delegation from Pakistan comprising
five office holders headed by Lt. General Shahid Hamid - Chairman Federal Public
Service Commission (FPSC) concluded 3 days exchange visit in Sydney. FPSC is
responsible for CSS evaluation, recruitment and promotion of all federal
appointments. This includes:
* Judges
* Police officers
* Consular & diplomats
* Professionals
* And all federal CSS officials.
The HQ of FPSC is located in Islamabad near Marriott hotel.
In our four hours informal open discussion, I found Gen Hamid pro-actively
challenge taker and a soft spoken person.
