Prominent Singer of Pakistan Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan has arrived in Sydney
Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan is prominent classical singer from Pakistan. He was born on 17 June 1972 and he is youngest son of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. His family represents a 500-year lineage of musicians of the Shamcharasi Gharana. Shafqat Ali Khan is a master of the Ghazal tradition of Indian classical music. Performing from the age of seven.
On the night of Saturday, 21 March 2015, Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan arrived in Sydney, local promoters Raja Taseer and friends welcome Ustad Shafqat at the Sydney International Airport. It is Shafqat Ali Khan's 3rd visit of Australia. On Sunday, 22 March, Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan will perform live at the Pakistan National Day function at Auburn Sydney. Pak day celebration is arranged by President Pakistan Association of Australia Chaudhry Shahid Iqbal. Next week, Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan's first public show will be at Silverwater Sydney on Sat, 28 March 2015.
