Candle-lit Vigil in Sydney for Peshawar Massacre
I was absolutely devastated to
hear the news yesterday of a school under siege at my hometown in Peshawar,
Pakistan, so soon after the Sydney siege attack. I was glued to the news and
every minute the death toll got higher and higher.
The death toll is over 132 children dead, another 9 staff members killed and a
total of 184 injured.
I would like to ask you to come and show your support by lighting a candle to
show your solidarity with peshawar and the families of those affected.
By experiencing what happened only this week in Sydney you would understand the
agony these people must be going through.
Please bring a candle with you. Hope to see you there :)
I would also appreciate if you add your friends to this event.
