Appeal for Zakat
In the Holy Quran, it is said,
"Those who (in
charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret, and in public,
have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they
grieve."
(Al Baqarah: Ayat 2:274)
This year, we will be collecting
funds (Zakat) as part of a food campaign to help the poverty stricken in
Pakistan. We will be distributing food and ration packs in Lahore, Pakistan
with the support of Akhuwat. Akhuwat shares the same vision of many of us who
wish to help the less fortunate.

One ration pack will contain:
Sugar 4 kg.
Rice 4 kg.
Oil 3 kg.
Tea pack 200 g.
Rooh afza 1 bottle.
Vermicel 1/2 kg
Daal chana 1 kg.
Daal masoor 1/2
kg.
Red chilli 250 g
Salt 1 packet.
Flour 20 kg.
Dates 2 packet
White chana 1/2 kg
