Message from Her Excellency Naela Chohan, High Commissioner for Pakistan,

For the Condolences of Zeeshan Akbar and thanks for Australian Government


The High Commission for Pakistan Canberra is in close contact with all the Australian concerned authorities and the family members of young Pakistani Late Zeeshan Akbar who lost his life in a tragic incident of armed robbery.


I would like to thank Prime Minister The Honourable Malcolm Turnbull MP, for his kind message of condolence which is a source of solace to the members of the bereaved family and the Pakistani diaspora in Australia.

The quick action by the Australian authorities in apprehending the perpetrators of this heinous crime, within only few hours, is also commendable and it is my earnest hope that justice is done.
I would like to convey my deep appreciation of the Community which acted with maturity and its support to the High Commission.

I would like to reiterate that the High Commission will ensure the transportation of the body of the deceased in respectful and dignified manner, to Pakistan.
