Imam Hasan Centre arranging a Fundraising Lunch at Crowne Plaza Norwest Sydney on Sunday, 17 March 2013 for the Financial Support of Massacre Victims of Pakistan
Salaam Alaykum dear community members,
Imam Hasan Centre has
organized a fund raising lunch to be held on 17th March 2013 at the Crowne Plaza
Norwest to help our fellow Shia brothers, sisters and children. Please show your
support, and collect your tickets from Sheikh Idrees ul Hasan, or Br Rizwan.
Guest speakers will include Manzar Bhopali, Sheikh Idrees ul Hassan and Syed
Sibtain Rizvi. All funds will be audited and distributed as in the past,
ensuring they reach those in need.
Jointly supported by: Imam Hasan Centre, Imam Ali Centre, Imam Husain Islamic
Centre, Muhammadi Welfare Association and Panjtan Society of Victoria.
I am writing to you to make you aware (if you are not already) of the ongoing murder of the Shia community in Pakistan, and just 5 days ago 113 were murdered in cowardly suicide bombing. Almost every day 100 Shia brothers are being murdered. These ongoing tragedies are leaving many children as orphans and families unable to look after themselves. Although 100 people get killed on a daily basis unfortunately the world does not care about the Shia’s in Pakistan – Please help.
On top of this the continued targeted killing of our religious scholars and professional doctors, teachers and so many of learned youth leaving a financial disaster for their families on top of the grief they are suffering.
I am asking you all for your help - to help our fellow Shia brothers, sisters and children to buy a ticket for a fund raising lunch to be held on 17th March 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Norwest. We have asked guest speakers to attend as well and I hope you can all assist. All funds will be distributed and audited as we have in the past ensuring it gets to the right people.
